SIVAGIRI SAMADHI MANDAPAM


The memorial of Sree Narayana gurudevan became a reality after twenty five years of Guru’s Samadhi, M.P Moothedath, [A leading railway contractor and one of the Guru’s devotee] got the luck of constructing the Mandapam, before that so many devotees came with the project of a memorial tower. Govindan who was in charge of the construction of the mandapam (the manager of  M.P Moothedath).

Moothedath and Govindan got recognition and appraisals from various parts and Moothedath was awarded the stamp of honor namely Sree Narayana Bhakttothamsam in recognition of his marvelous services and Govindan also equally honored.
Samadhi of Sree Narayana Guru at Varkala developed as a well  know religious pilgrim center lakhs and lakhs of pilgrimages are coming to pay homage to the Samadhi of the Great Gurudevan each year to Varkala, which is about 51kms away from Thiruvananthapuram by road and also connected by rail. Sree Narayana Guru Samadhi at Sivagiri, Varkala  is one of the famous Pilgrim Centers in Kerala, India thousands of followers of Guru are visiting the Samadhi Mandapam every year .
